Finally got the rallycross car running! No more power steering leak, no more oil leak, no more Brembos. Drove around the block with only minor high temp drama (because I’m a dummy and didn’t put enough coolant in.)
All good now (knock on wood.) 5 days to get it inspected, aligned, and work out any bugs before the rallycross on Saturday in Vermont. Stoked!

I was supposed to Rallycross the Milan again this weekend but it was canceled due to thunderstorms.

Probably stock smaller brakes from another Subaru to fit the smaller wheels? Just my guess...

Needed smaller brakes in order to clear a 15" wheel for gravel tires.

Yeah, it’s also hysterical that it’s safer to be in your car than out of one.
The real problem is everyone standing around in an empty field spotting cones on the corners than it is the drivers in the cars.
Oh well, there’s one next month that’s a hell of a lot closer to home, I’ll dirty up the Milan there. Or maybe I’ll have sold the Montego and can buy a rallyX car by then.

Hey, It’s another SCCA Rallycross competitor. Once I get a skidplate for the Mini I am going to be running as many events as I can.

I’ve been out of it for a couple years, but i’m able to compete again! Hopefully with a cage next year for some Rallysprint action.

Yea I used to be out there all the time with my dad when he still had his Merkur. Since then I have only been able to volunteer and ran the 2014 test n tune at O’Neils in my 06 corolla (which was surprisingly neutral when you get on it). Once I get the Mini protected I will defiantly be getting back out there.
